The vision for Liven Beach Road in Hervey Bay is coming to life! From our initial launch to market in July 2024 to incredible sales milestones and major construction progress, take a look at our journey so far.

July – Liven Communities was announced

In 2023, GreenFort purchased a 57,000m² parcel of land on Beach Road at Hervey Bay (now known as Liven Beach Road), with approval to develop 132 homes and associated community facilities. By July 2024, the Liven Communities brand had been announced – establishing itself as an exciting new player in the luxury retirement living sector.

With luxury amenities, stellar home designs and a premium location in Hervey Bay, our first innovative land lease launch made headlines, allowing us to spread the news that over 50s can reap the benefits of home ownership while living in a community with luxury amenities and likeminded, vibrant retirees.

July – Liven Beach Road Sales and Information Centre installed at Hervey Bay Shopping Centre

Shortly after the announcement of the Liven Communities brand, our first Sales and Information pop-up was established at Stockland’s Hervey Bay Shopping Centre, offering future residents the chance to learn more about what life at Liven Beach Road would look like.

The Sales and Information Centre, headed up by respected local Cheryl Andreula, gives residents the chance to connect with someone who has expertise in downsizing, retirement, and, of course, all things Hervey Bay.

August – Construction begins!

From August, it was full steam ahead on the progress of our community, with the commencement of Stage 1 and 2 bulk earthworks. Since then, construction at Liven Beach Road has progressed significantly, with the following milestones reached:

• September: Stage 1 and 2 sewer works commenced
• October: Stage 1 stormwater works commenced
• November: Stage 2 stormwater works commenced
• December: Retaining wall works and preparation of external roadworks phasing commenced

September – Our first residents bought their dream home

As soon as our first luxury homes were placed on the market, buyers were quick to snap them up – with 50 per cent selling out in the space of two weeks.

Since coming to market, Liven Beach Road has been a sales success, with the following milestones achieved:

• Mid-September – Stage 1: 50 per cent sold
• Early October – Stage 1: 80 per cent sold
• Early November – Stage 2 launched ahead of schedule to meet demand

November – Our first buyers and construction progress were celebrated at an official sod turn

Led by Fraser Coast Mayor George Seymour and Liven Communities representatives, our celebratory sod turn with the community’s first buyers was a fun way to announce to the world that the project was officially underway.

December – Liven Beach Road’s clubhouse design was revealed

An exciting first look! In December, we unveiled the designs of Liven Beach Road’s future clubhouse, giving residents a glimpse of the premium leisure facilities to come. With a luxury swimming pool, bowling greens, cinema, library, bar & lounge and more, the Liven Beach Road clubhouse is set to be the heart of our community.
